Post by: axeTail on February 20, 2008, 02:36:58 am
Hi All,

Is there a way to improve the performance of pdaXrom / pdaXii13?

For Beta3 and pdaXii13 (IIRC), you can disable multilanguage something or other (I can't remember exactly what it is) that has been reported to increase performance fairly significantly.

Sorry, I don't know. I haven't ever really used either pdaXii13 or beta3. All I can remember is that the thing you need to do stuff with is SCIM or some similar name. You'll have to wait for somebody who knows what they're doing.

I don't think pdaxrom beta 3 has this, but if you are using pdaxii13, SCIM can be disabled in "pdaxii13 config"
This will improve pdaxii13 performance quite a bit.
Remember to click "Save changes" after changing settings in pdaxii13 config. Then restart X to make changes take effect.
