I was wondering of all the people that have the expansion sleds for their sl6000s. How often do you actually use them? I have one working tosa and one sled, and it's attached 24/7 with a 4gb cf card in it at all times.

actually, there would be quite a few people interested, so do share the love
also, has anyone determined whether we could use the sled port to make our own peripherals.

I'm not willing to risk mine...
I do know that you can not hot swap the extra battery, if you remove the battery it powers off the whole unit. The serial port on the side doesn't work for me. The speak/mic do work, there's a hollow area in the sled to allow air to pass. The sled makes the unit as a whole feel a lot heavier and adds a lot of bulk. But the extra battery and CF card make it worth it. I'm very happy with mine and would recommend anyone with big pockets and uses their tosa daily get one if they can.
