NOTICE: VTE is very big and fat, and is not suitable for English-only users.
evilvte is in Debian official archive. Just apt-get it. :-)

I noticed that 2or0 (yonggun) uses "sakura" in his rootfs.
sakura is VTE based, so I present another VTE based terminal emulator here.
evilvte is simpler than sakura.
It supports almost everything VTE provides.
It also supports tabs, tabbar autohide, and switch encoding at runtime.
Configuration is via editing source code and recompilation.
However, VTE is very big and fat, and is not suitable for English-only users.
