Title: Help Files & Bluetooth
Post by: gdenafrio on December 06, 2008, 12:31:44 am
Hey folks:

I have an old Japanese SL-6000W, and was wondering if I could some where or some how get the english help files from the english ROM on my device..  The files I need I think are in /home/QtPalmtop/help/en/html

Also, I've been struggling with the bluetooth (bluez)  I've got it working, I mean I can do scans for bluetooth devices in the area and the blue light comes on, but I have a problem getting hidd to work...  Specifically, a hidp.o kernel module I downloaded for the 2.4.18 kernel doesn't load:

$ sudo insmod /lib/modules/2.4.18-rmk7-pxa3-embedix/kernel/net/bluetooth/hidp/hidp.o
/lib/modules/2.4.18-rmk7-pxa3-embedix/kernel/net/bluetooth/hidp/hidp.o: unresolved symbol sockfd_lookup
$

sockfd_lookup isn't part of the kernel symbols (grep sockfd_lookup /proc/ksyms returns nothing)

Any assistance, thoughts, or help with these two issue would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I don't have any thing for bluetooth or the built in help files at the moment, but here is a link to the user manuals I attached last year.

The english firmware for SL-6000W was once posted here. Please google for "SL-6000W-ENG-NAND-original.zip".
Ask again if you need instructions about reflashing it.
