Title: Sold: Sylvania G Netbook
Post by: the_oak on January 17, 2010, 08:42:23 pm
I'm selling the Netbook that I wrote about in this thread:

It is a nice piece of hardware, but will never properly support Linux, even though it was sold with Linux pre-installed. It runs Windows XP flawlessly, but I really bought it to be a mini Linux box. I am also selling the metal base that I made which added a DVD/CD-RW Combo drive, and CF card reader. I also throw in a legal copy of Windows XP Home Edition. And last but not least, an external USB WIFI adapter. (The internal WIFI never worked great, and finally stopped working at all.)

I hope to raise enough cash to buy a Zaurus replacement. Maybe Netwalker?
