Title: Wherer is reset button on 860

I think I\'ve found it, but don\'t want to risk it, if I get brave enough to try pdaXrom I will let you know if I was right

Unless any C series \'old timers\' want to impart a little wisdom??

Post by: jchung on March 19, 2004, 02:24:26 pm: I dont know if hte c860 has changed ( which most likely did not) but on my C700 there is no reset button like the 5x00 series..

if you want to flash a rom just hit the the battery switch and it should reset..
then after a second or two you hit the battery switch back to the on position and press OK + power buttons and it should bring you to the flash menu..

only thing different is that I dont have to remove my battery on my c700..

Post by: jerrybme on March 19, 2004, 03:09:24 pm: Also, someone posted great tip for frequent flashers (no, not that kind ) Hold down the Ok button at start of reboot and you\'ll go to flash menu, without opening battery compartment and pulling battery.

I\'m a little over whelmed trying to figure this all out. diffrent ROMs, models, kernels. What applied to what???
I\'ve been looking for that button for an hour. :shock:
