Wow! it sure looks great in that dark red color, and the guy also sent me the
leather case for it. It only took 14 days all the way from Japan to Mexico,
including a stop-over in Mexican customs service (1,200 pesos, or about US$90
import duty). And the guy had already changed it over to English for me and
named the home folder with my name! How is that for service?

Now the only thing I need to do is change the size of the tiny screen character
fonts that my half-century-plus young eyes are having a hard time with.

Also, the touch screen calibration is off by about an eigth of an inch.

Somebody hold me down please...

Congrats on getting the leather case too, is it PDair's? I had to buy mine separately. It is awesome though.

Try calibrating the touch screen. As for the fonts, you can either increase the size in System -> Settings -> Appearance -> Fonts, affecting just the fonts or go into advanced settings (lower right) and increase the DPI.

An additional tip: When you go changing your fonts and their size you can also try different hinting algorithms. I found "best contrast" or whatever it is called makes fonts clearer and easier to read than the default "... LCD" setting.
