Hi,
I am new to the Netwalker world and I did not find information so far, if it is possible to install lucid lynx on the netwalker (and if yes how). I found the netbook version for i.MX51 boards and now I need some tipps how to get on with the installation.
Has anyone installed a newer version of ubuntu to the Netwalker? Are there any instructions on the web (possibly not in Japanese)?

Well the Ubuntu is version 9.04 for ARM.
There is no newer version available.
What I did is add the repro of 10.04, it has ARM packages for example:
Firefox
OpenOffice
LXDE
A upgrade won't work though, only some packages.
Not the kernel or systemfiles

Sorry if this is a stupid question: What are the missing things to run a more recent version of ubuntu on the Netwalker. The architecture lucid aims at, is ARMv7 as the Netwalker, there also seems to be a kernel for the imx51?

Well I didn't try to install a clean lucid.
This because it is not possible to boot from a USB for example
But I also think the drivers are a issue with the new kernel, don't think they are compiled somewhere.

An updated ARM version of Ubuntu is due out as version 10.07. As the version number suggests it should be out in July, although time is running out.
