Title: Fast Ethernet for my SL-6000L
Post by: v8esprit on March 27, 2004, 02:07:58 pm
My SL-6000 is on a delivery truck and should be here within an hour.  I like the built in wireless, but I know I need Fast Ethernet for work.  So I was scanning this forum and a chap from the UK had a bunch of problems and then bought a Trendnet CF 10/100 card.  It seemed to work just fine for him.  I went to the site, here is the link:

http://www.trendnet.com/products/TE-CF100.htm (http://www.trendnet.com/products/TE-CF100.htm)

It states that its compatible for all the WinCE PDA\'s but does not mention the Zaurus.  I\'m wondering how I would install this? ...they have drivers to dload on the site. The Zaurus is fantastic, but is it just gonna plug and play install itself?  Got any ideas?

BTW, I purchased from PcConnection.com.  They delivered on a Saturday.

This card should \"just work\" out of the box. At least it does on older zaurus models...

FYI, this card works great but it has problems with high end cisco switches (4000,5000,6000 series) .   They say it won\'t work at all with them, however I can get it to work with our 6500 series at work, but not with dhcp.   Works fine at home with dhcp and my pos netgear switch
