For those times when vi is too much, and emacs is way too much, there will always be ed, man! (http://www.gnu.org/fun/jokes/ed.msg.html)
ed 1.5 (http://www.elsix.org/index.php?w=project&p=ed) for Sharp ROM is now available on ELSIx. (My first ipkg! But why is it listed twice on the ELSIx home page (http://www.elsix.org/index.php)?)- ed manual (bigger than the source code (maybe)) (http://www.gnu.org/software/ed/manual/ed_manual.html)
- My ed cheat sheet (http://sdf.org/?tutorials/ed)

The homepage of ELSIX is a news listing. It looks like you modified the changes field to "initial release" and this got published as a new item. I don't know how you can delete the first news item, but when you make a change or update to a project there is a checkbox somewhere that asks if you want to post it on the front page.

Thanks. I'll look for the checkbox next time.
