I\'m running the latest tkcJabber on a 5600 with the stock Sharp ROM. tkcJabber works fine with the exception that sound alerts do not work. the LED flashes when an inbound message is received, but no sound. I\'ve checked all the prefs in tkcJabber and the sound settings on the Z and all appear to be normal. Sound works fine in other apps, for screen taps, alarms, etc.
Any suggestions how to fix this? Thanks in advance.

I have the same setup, same problem.
A bug report was submitted to the kompany\'s mantis system a long time ago...
I think it would have been about mid 2003!
Don\'t hold your breath for a fix.

Perhaps someone from the Kompany can comment on when a fix will be ready. Also, has development of tkcJabber been halted? Seems like there hasn\'t been an update in ages.

Deleted tkcJabber and their other products from my Z. A Kompany that cannot bother to respond to requests does not deserve our business. Even a "Hey we're sorry but we aren't working on this anymore" would have been acceptable. Not even one message.
Gaim is a better chat application, and free.
The Kompany... shame on you!
