Title: Cf Compact Flash Wireless Wifi Card Compatibility
Post by: Omicron on August 11, 2011, 08:16:12 pm
Does anyone know if these cars would work on the Zaurus?

Never heard of the name before: "VeriFone Compact Flash Wireless LAN card"

I bought a couple and they came 3 days ago.
Plugged one into a SL-5500 running TKrom, and it worked OOTB with no driver installation nor tweaking at all.
Haven't tried it in either of my clamshell zaurii though yet, though I doubt there'll be an issue. If there is, I think the ebay auction mentioned that there was a linux driver on the small driver disk that each came with, so BYU (Bob's Your Uncle ;-)

Thanks for the info.  Yeah, if they work for the 5500, then they should probably work fine for the clamshells.

I am gonna try to re-flash my wayward wifi card (DLink 650) and if it doesn't come back I will definitely get one of these.

Thanks again.
