Title: insmod scsi_mod on Cacko Qt "Daniela"
Post by: vishnja on April 04, 2004, 02:59:37 pm
Hi,

I\'m trying to make may ratoc usb-host cf card run on the Daniela Rom (C860). I could install the cfu1-driver_0.0.2-3.arm.ipk and the usb-modules. The card get\'s recognized correctly, but when I make an \"insmod scsi_mod\"
I get error messages:

/lib/modules/2.4.18-rmk7-pxa3-embedix/kernel/drivers/scsi/scsi_mod.o: unresolved symbol request_module

The same I get with \"depmod -ae\"

Could someone help?
I would like to mount my mp3 player ;-)

cheers,
Kathrin

You need to rebuild the modules. Or better wait for the next ROM release (should be out this week) - it contains USB CF Host support out of the box.
