Title: Movie encoding.

Does any one know how to encode dvd\'s so that I can watch them on my 5500.  Am looking for the commands for encoding in divx( or some thing batter ) useing ogg so that I can have stereo.  Thx in ADV.

By the way it I have to do all my encoding under linux, as I don\'t have windows installed

It uses mplayer / mencoder.  Look at the \"transcoding\" section of the mplayer documentation for specifying a dvd as souce.
