Title: 3.10 ROM Run as root NO GOOD

Hi,

I successfully upgraded my 5500 to the 3.10 ROM.
Works great except for the \"Run as root\" check box on dektop icons.

I check the box for \"Run as root\" to run VNC, Kismet and other programs
but they don\'t run as root.  The check box is cleared when I go back to the Details screen for any of the the programs I set for Run as root.

Any ideas why this is happening?

Is the Run as root setting an entry in the .desktop files?
If it is, I could just edit the .desktop files but I need to know what entry to make.

My last option is to track down sudo (most links are broken to this).

Can you help me on this?

BTW - I did set a root password but the Run as root didn\'t work before that either.

This is a known bug. Upgrade to 3.13 ROM. It\'s available as a download on this site I think
