Hotmail and Yahoo do not have SMTP or POP mail accounts.  You are going to need specific software.  Are you planning on using a Zaurus?

For Yahoo, you need to pay to be able to check pop3 mail or send through smtp.

Check out freshmeat.net -- I\'ve seen at least one (I think more) scripts that will get email from yahoo\'s webmail by screen-scraping the web page.  It might exist for hotmail, as well... not sure if it will send via yahoo, though.

Just going to http://www.hotmail.com (http://www.hotmail.com) from the Z will give you a PDA optimized view.  I actually like it better than the standard view.

I am not sure if this is still the case after the recent Hotmail upgrade, but my guess is that it will still work.[/url]

Here are the PDA sites for MSN and Yahoo:

http://mobile.msn.com/pocketpc/ (http://mobile.msn.com/pocketpc/)

http://wap.oa.yahoo.com/ (http://wap.oa.yahoo.com/)

Both mail apps work fine with Opera 7 (and I assume anything else for the Z).  I don\'t know about MSN/Hotmail, but I think you need to pay for a premium account to get pop3 access to your e-mail through Yahoo.

I have more PDA sites here:
