Lame operating system aside unlimitted WIFI / 3G phone clamshell keyboard combo may be the future for zaurus hardware.
In this configuration nothing would stop the zaurus from running both full blown linux and windows using thin clients. Killer Ap might be full IBM via voice dictation via thin client application coupled to text messaging and email. Without VMware I get the full microsoft office (stuck with outlook at work) by a thin client that works fine through firefox on Suse linux laptop. I notice they have an old client for linux PDA processors. Has anyone gotten it to work with any zaurus.

If sharp had any marketing they could poke fun at microsoft powered phones that crash twice weekly losing all the address data until resync (like my Samsung i330). Linux makes a lot of sense on a phone laptop replacement convergence device.
