Hello, first to tell that this is my first post and I have no idea about the zaurus.
I wanna build my own MPOS (mobile point of sale). I have a database and a front-end to access to this database (postgresql under linux) to store all the bills (desktop pc), and I wanna create my own external system to make bills on the fly (carry this system in my car), for this, I have found that Zaurus can be a good choice.
Can I run a normal java app into the zaurus?
Can I connect a mini printer (http://sd.epson.es/products/tms/u295/u295.htm or similar) via CE-170TS Cable (serial cable) and get it to work?
if not, can I run a QT app with a very simple database into the zaurus?, is there any other way to get a mini-printer to run with zaurus?.

Hi!
1. Yes you can run java apps on your zaurus.
2. Yes, you can connect a mini printer but if you can get it to work, i don\'t know, sorry...
3. Yes, you can run it. Look at killefiz.de/zaurus (http://www.killfiz.de/zaurus) for more information. MySQL and apache / Portabase etc. are already packaged for the zaurus, so you can run a database (mysql+apache and browser or portabase etc.)
