Title: Does anyone have IR working with Cacko Qtopia 1.21?
Post by: stupkid on April 17, 2004, 11:04:43 pm
I have not had any success with doing anything with IR on the new Cacko Qtopia 1.21 ROM.  I think that the kernel lacks the sa1100_ir driver.  Can anyone confirm or deny that IR is working on this ROM?

Thanks for any help...

I was able to beam addresses from a Palm Vx to the zaurus (SL-C750) addressbook.  I\'m running the latest cacko Qtopia ROM. I had to click one of the red icons in the system tab to to tell the zaurus to listen.  I think it was called \"beam receive.\"  Sorry, I don\'t have a zaurus handy at the office.

Well, for those that care the issue is with one of my lib packages.  After installing some lib packages and rebooting I was no longer able to use IR.  I\'ll try to determine the package that is hosing me.   UGH!

OK, the library in question is libopieobex1-1.0.3  I am installating it to use some Opie PIM applications.  The version included with the rom is 0.9 after installing the updated library IR breaks.  Well at least I know what is breaking, but now I will attempt to resolve the issue...
