I'm sure this was mentioned deep in one of the threads here somewhere but I thought I'd highlight it by giving the IRC channel its own thread because up until now its only been daal and I using it.
Fire up weechat or your IRC client of choice and come and discuss why running ALARM on a Z is the best retro pocket computing experience a man can have, or something, soon!
#ALARMZ on irc.freenode.net

Sounds good, will give it a try sometime soon....when I have time....
Hopefully, time will work for you and daal as we're all in different timezones....
-
Got onto #ALARMZ now......with weechat on my Z....
But I'm there all by myself......
-
....until I spotted this post!
daal is away this weekend.
-
Got it set up in Adium, pretty cool!

Good stuff TheWalt! It looks like I just missed you on IRC unfortunately!
When I can use the onboard audio on my BPi again I'll try settng up weechat so it can notify me of posts with a sound. Mainline BananaPi audio is expected for Linux 4.4

I try to be there as often as possible to help with issues around the ALARM rootfs, kernel etc. Just keep in mind the timezone difference..
We might need to look at a logbot that can keep track of the conversations. Anyone has experience with setting one up ?
See : http://logs.nslu2-linux.org/livelogs (http://logs.nslu2-linux.org/livelogs) for example

I have been afk for a while, but I aim to be on the channel.
Just let me know here if you like to chat about ALARMZ.
Cheers,

I was wondering the other day "is there any channel for Arch Linux on the Zaurus?", guess I have found it now

Hi Varthall,
would be good to catch up, if it is ArchLinuxARM related, best in the ALRMZ channel.
I follow also #kexecboot and #zaurus.
Keep in mind the timezone , I am in the southern hemisphere!
Cheers!

Reminder, please join #ALARMZ on freenode for live feedback and chat. Thanks !
