Hi-
I need a new PDA and would like the following:
1. Day light readable screen
2. bash awk gcc
3. GPS from gcc
4. Keyboard (I assume the build in keyboard is tough typing if you have big hands.) Amazon sez Targus universal ir keyboard ($70) will work
5. It to work with my 1gb IBM microdrive (CF)
Amazon has sl-5600 for $270. $270 seems like a good deal if my likes are alll satisfied. Any comments from the sl-5x00 wizards?
Thanx

1. The 5600 has a reflective LCD screen, so it is quite readable in direct sunlight. It isn\'t perfect, but it doesn\'t get washed out and no other PDA I know of is any more readable in direct sunlight.
2. Bash already comes on the 5600. awk and gcc are available to install
3. GPS from gcc? There are several GPS solutions, but no route planning software, only maps. Search the forums for GPS for more
4. Search the forums for IRK (the Zaurus IR Keyboard drivers) for specific keyboard support.
5. The 5600 will happily work with the IBM microdrives.

Thanx to tumnus
I ordered the 5600 (it arrives apr 20th). the list on amazon indicated that the Universal keyboard would work so I ordered it also (It arrives in about a week).
