This is old news, but I'm posting it since I have not seen any post about this...
Hans de Goede has released a patched kernel with specific fixes for the GPD Win. Now almost all the Win's features are supported under Linux; what's still missing is full USB-C functionality at USB 3.0 speeds, although this is being worked on:

The installation of the new kernel is not straightforward, but all these fixes are going upstream and they should be released with the forthcoming 4.12 kernel release. There's still no release date for this new kernel release, at the moment the most recent preview is 4.12-rc3 which was released a couple of days ago. Ideally, in 2018 all the major Linux distros should include the 4.12 kernel and hence support the Win out of the box.
