Title: meta/escape key on SL-6000

Is there a physical key on the 6000 that can be used to send escape via the terminal program?  Past posts talk about the \"cancel\" key doing this, but I don\'t see one on the physical keyboard (using the pickboard for say, M-x in emacs is pretty cumbersome).
