Title: Psion and/or CPen IR
Post by: theallan on April 19, 2004, 04:27:55 pm
Hello all,

Does anyone know if it possible to exchange data between a Psion series 5 and a Z by IR? And along the same line exchange data with a CPen and a Z by IR?

Thanks
Allan

It must be possible. I have a Psion Revo, I can exchange data between my Revo and Zaurus. By default the Revo can send/receive only PIM data. I use an application called \'plBeam\' in my Revo that enables it to send/receive anything.

Do you have the original Revo or the newer one? I think that pIBeam only works with the 5MX and Revo MX (or whatever it\'s called). If I am wrong, tell me and I will be very happy.... :-)

Thanks

Please don\'t flame me but... you know... talking about Psion device issues... in a Zaurus forum...

(and plBeam works on 5 5mx netBook Révo and Révo+. Search for its main web site)

Of course I won\'t flame you... I did wonder as I was typing my last message out, about the fact that I was heading more into Psion teritory than Z - but the original question was about Zaurus\' and Psions together...

Anyway, Thanks for the help. I\'ll check it out.
