The golden plated Gemini can be seen, AFAIK for the first time, in this video.

Seems to be a "reload" of an earlier CES-video (didn't watch the entire thing, just some seconds at the beginning, but do believe I have seen it before...).

That's Charbax' interview at this year's CES, the poster should have at least given credit to him for the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zQLawxkYyug (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zQLawxkYyug)

A not so great review from Digital Trends, completely missing what’s the point and the consumer target of the Gemini:

I agree: many people are missing the point: PDA (batter: pocket PC) like Gemini are still useful and modern, IMHO more than a "classic" smartphone, mostly for writers, journalists, bloggers and so. These devices are not "a revert to the past", are a completion.

Also, he has big hands. I use it with 6 fingers and both thumbs. Not quite up to the speed of a full-sized keyboard but very, very close.

Nice review/discussion/presentation...
Thanks!
And a short part 3 (where you can see the link for a "special perk" that gets you the Gemini PDA (WiFi + 4G) for 499 USD...):

That's a really interesting perk for any new backer, thanks for the heads up, I'll open a new thread for this so that more people will be aware of it.

Agreed.
Myopic, wanna-be Millennial reviewer (needing relevancy from them) (my characterizations), totally missed the reason d'etre of the Gemini PDA.
An explanatory reply / rebuttal ought to be Tweeted about "the point" and target markets of the Gemini PDA to him - @ANDYBOXALL - by backers AND Planet execs.
Ifanafi
P.S. IMHO, his deleted FB page and no-link email button suggests his reviews have been pushed back against by others responding to his missed-the-point reviews.

Apparently it was only for MWC, and is supposedly gone again now
