Hi,

Anyone know the specs for Java on the new SL-6000?

Is it IBM?  Personal Profile?

appears to be the same one thats been available for a year or so:

bash-2.05$ evm -version
java version \"J2ME Personal Profile for Zaurus 1.0\"
J2ME Personal Profile 1.0 (build 1.0_fcs-b25)
J2ME CDC-HI 1.0_v01

but its text area doesnt have a bug it had when ran on a 5600. sys info says it was compiled by Sun on feb 11, 2003. It seems to still be about 8 to 10 percent slower then jeode was on a \"pre-emptive kernel\" 5600.

im getting this, which i didnt on the 5600, although the program runs fine:

bash-2.05$ evm Misconstrewn
SlSharedManager: can\'t get proc entry
Display size = 480x640
could not open translation file /home/QtPalmtop//i18n/en/libsl.qmid

Was there not some kind of collaboration going on with IBM with respect to Java?
