I don't see that anyone has mentioned this here (though maybe everyone saw Steve Marinos' post on IndieGogo) so I thought I'd note it.

Thanks for that — as you say, very interesting and quite encouraging.
Good to know that Davide has been using a Gemini as his primary device for several weeks now; as well as showing his interest and confidence in it, it'll also give him every incentive to make it work well!
It also confirms my impression that they really are concerned for making a device that's open, future-proof, and optimised for the form factor — for personal enthusiasm as well as commercial reasons.
