I have flashed standard Android (non rooted) and Debian ok but I made a mistake on the Debian side and forgot to increase disk space and ended up with a blank screen. I reflashed everything and of course it reset Android, Debian now works ok now I have allowed to see more disk space.
My question is if I want to flash just Debian how do I do it without reflashing the Android image? Or even try another O/S without disturbing Android.
Thanks
Allan

The latest versions of the flash tools allow you to select 'download only' and use the tick selections at the side to just flash the partitions you want to update. This only works if you keep the same partition table, ie the same scatter file or exactly the same size in the android/linux split.
You might have been able to fix your linux install using ssh over usb even whilst having a blank screen.

Thanks for your reply will have a look at that. Couldn't use ssh over usb as Planet have shipped my extra perks including the usb adaptor, still waiting for the postman to deliver!

You got a USB cable with your Gemini for charging, right? Well, plug it in to your left Gemini port and your computer, open a terminal on your computer, and type:
ssh gemini@10.15.19.82
when prompted, give your gemini password ("gemini" unless you changed it) and you're in.

It takes so long to shut down debian the blue light stays on for quite a few minutes also is there any way of connecting my apple bluetooth mouse to it?.

That works fine thanks didn't think of using the left hand port. By the way everything works volume etc but not the screen brightness control any ideas.
