My Gemini is currently non-functional. I think I ned to reflash it, but I don't know which firmware to use. Is it possible to tell from the serial number (SN YGEMINI4G180400146)?
I have only just received the device, but it was a low order number (9xx)
Thanks for your help-
Pete

The Flash tool gives the following information:
Chip name: MT6797
Chip version: 0x0000ca01
Does that help to identify whether it's X25 or X27
I now have the the X25 firmware flashed and running, so that may be a clue

More clues: when I originally set up the device, before bricking it, it gave me a choice of SIM (the 3 SIM I had inserted or 'Card 2') to use for calls and SMS. Does that indicate it is an X27 rather than an X25?

Yes. I have an x25 and x27 and that was the most obvious difference.

Thanks.

@Pdajah already answered, but the x25 only has a single sim. If you have 2, then you are using an x27.

Thanks. Everything is working properly now

The latest OTA update for my x27 device did not work (had to reflash the ROM) unlike my x25 update which went smoothly.

Has the update been pulled? I'm not being offered one.
I did one about 2 weeks ago after receiving an X27 Gemini, it was fine.

I received a new mat and keyboard keys for my x25 device and now just as good as a x27 device. Space bar issue addressed.
