Hello,
Got a firmware update this morning.
Sorry about the image quality!

We had been advised that one was on its way.
Have you noticed any changes or 'improvements' yet?
Does this one sort oyt the 'stereo sound' bug, I wonder?

Only visible differences I can see are:
* Firmware Update screen now displays in landscape (!)
* Kernel version is 3.18.41, built May 30th
The GSM and CDMA baseband versions are unchanged since 08 February, and the Android security patch level is dated 5 February.

Upgraded today. No change for the stereo speakers, no change for the assistant button.
Kernel updated to 3.18.41 - I don"t know if the recovery partition has changed, as the update went into a recovery screen. I haven"t checked yet. Seems a little snappier. Maybe it was the reboot. It also looks like the default dpi has changed. Pages now seem to show more without the need of scrolling. The app bar seems smaller, maybe it is slightly different icons, maybe my imagination.
Definately snappier.

What do you have to do to see/apply the update?
In Settings -> About phone -> Firmware Update, mine shows the current version as "Gemini-7.1-Planet-10052018-V2.<2018-05-10 15:09>" (in a landscape-oriented screen). When I tap 'Detection of update', it flashes "A new version is being detected" but then shows "Is the latest version".
(Mine's a second-batch, X27, 4G model.)
(I'm hoping for headset buttons to work with the lid closed…)
