Title: Brightness bug (auto-brightness off but screen still dimming)

Anyone else experience this? Auto-brightness is turned off in settings (checked multiple times to see if it toggled back on) but the device keeps dimming itself. I haven't quite figured out whether it's due to apps or ambient light conditions, but it happens fairly often.
