Does the xscale processor found in the Zaurus 6000L have any programable throttle control.
It takes so long for the unit to wake up out of off mode that I would rather keep it on in a low power, but still functional state
Or maybe there are some alternative power settings I can use.
Does such an API exist. Where is a good source on this

I would assume that since the PXA255 processor is overclockable, its probably underclockable as well. But there might be OS issues with Linux when the clockspeed changes. Maybe someone who knows more about this can chime in...

But I still think it\'s possible.
You could manually underclock as DrWowe says (other threads to look at for that, search for \'underclock\' for example)
