Hello,
The agenda I currently use on the Gemini - Business Calendar - has a dedicated Anniversaries mode, specifically for birthdays and similar events.
Just like the Psion.
I can import agenda items from the Psion, but Anniversaries go wrong.
The Psion Agenda items are also synchronized with an old Lotus calendar. There again, they are in the Anniversaries part.
I can the export the Lotus Anniversaries to vCal. If I open the vCal I can see that all items are there and that they even are marked Anniversary and with a repeat.
Now, when I import that in Google (web) Calendar, they all do import, but they end up on the birthday in the year of birth of those persons. Without repeat. Just as a normal Day item.
I could then put them on repeat - if I find them back - but then they will still not be an Anniversary item.
Any ideas here ?
That's what I liked the most from my Psion 3a: you did not need to fill in all Anniversaries every year again. It just went automated. Would be a bit embarrassing if the 21st century "Gemini" cannot deal with it.

How do you import from Psion Agenda?
(I have 20 years' worth of Psion Agenda entries that I'll need to import once I decide which app to useā¦)

I currently synchronized the Psion to Lotus Organizer 6 with Activesync.
Lotus exports to vcal and such a file can be imported to Google Calendar (online).
Once it is on Google it is on your Gemini (independent of what app you use).
Alternatively, I have a freeware EPOC program that exports directly to vcal. If you're interested I'll transfer it to my PC and post it here.
But as I wrote... the conversions don't go as I wanted.
