Can anyone recommend a safe car charger, something to keep Waze from draining the battery?
Thanks,
Jake

Ditto that question and emphasize "SAFE" given the uneven (and some say harmful) current cars generate (through the lighter and suspect USB connections).
Were I still driving to gigs as I did before retiring, I would hard wire the 12V to 110 power Inverter I have to my car's battery and hide it away in the boot / trunk... when the Gemini's battery fades and fails to hold a long, strong charge (as it will eventually).

Like you and before I, too, retired, I crisscrossed the USA driving to gigs.
My various cell phones that invariably and sooner than expected lost their charge, needed charging.
Because of the unstable and dangerous (damaging) reputation most lighter chargers have, I bought (from Northerntool.com USA) and installed in my E320, a STRONGWAY 300 Watt Pure Sine Wave Inverter for about ($130).
Where to place it and where's best to run a USB charging cable can be sorted to work (with help, in my case, from my brother, an electrical engineer).
Your results may vary!

Decided to get in contact with PC for car charger suggestions and they were quick to respond. They suggested an Anker type, I sent them the link above, and they said that'd be fine. I've been using it for about a month and it seems to work as advertised.
I'm always hesitant to recommend anything to do with voltage, etc, but this particular model has not yet blown up my G.
