Is it possible to disable the eSIM status icon in the android top bar?
I'm using a physical SIM in the 4G model and don't need the other icon all the time...
Wondering if there's buried setting I can't seem to find.

Haven't figured out a way, either. As a workaround, I use Battery Overlay Percentage, highly customizable, and run an easy-to-see battery percentage over both the battery and eSIM icons. I like seeing a battery percentage, I think the percentage in the actual battery icon is too small, and BOP covers nicely.

I have wifi only and it shows eSIM! see here

for how to remove - don't know how this will work on a 4G model but might be worth a try?

Tried that on mine but it is too coarse... it removes both sim statuses.

One wonders aloud whether Planet sees these many issues, suggestions, etc. and intends to incorporate them into Gemini 2.0 or not.
