hi all,
Wireless update proposes a new firmware with date 2018-10-31.
Has anyone already updated?
I still cannot do it as I've a multi boot setting...
Any info about what are the changes? The PC Support page hasn't info at the moment...
(they wait for Nov 5th "big announcement")

I've updated, appears to be a quick patch, there were no update notes or long winded out process of a normal firmware update. Took about 3 minutes.
Only thing I've notice is that after the restart I haven't had to change the calls sim choice from Card2 back to 3UK. That bug which existed since last backup.
Would guess it just a quick bug fix patch?

thanks!
Perhaps it is only a bug fix release, then.

Thanks for the heads-up! I didn't even have to go trough the "magic" steps to re-enable my keyboard setting, it stayed on Norwegian after the upgrade. The eSIM Wallet still changes the SIM for calling to the eSIM on just opening the application, but at least it doesn't change on restart of the Gemini anymore. (I've had it change to eSIM on a few occasions when I don't think I've even had a restart too lately, and hopefully that should be gone as well. Of course it COULD be that it had a crash and restart without me noticing, but don't really think so.)
You might consider changing the topic of this thread to something like "New firmware 2018-10-31", as there are beginning to be quite a few "New firmware" or similar threads here now...

Have run the update, SIM card was ok after restart.
(Previously I had to manually set the SIM after each reset.)

Well, it could be only this bug correction, that, however, is a good thing!

It also seems I now have more reliable/correct saving/editing of files on SD-card again too!!!

Just a note for FOTA users--the Partition Tool has the updated firmware for Oct 31 2018. For example, my downloaded directory is labeled: Gemini_x27_31102018 and my flash of it seems okay.
Very short spinning-balls screen compared to Oct 9 2018 firmware. Upon reboot, no SIM card issue and I get a notice telling me the upgrade was successful. In the G's firmware update section, it says I have the latest version.
