I'll start the thread (and these new subforums!) with an article from The Register:
https://www.theregister.co.uk/2018/11/05/pl...o_communicator/ (https://www.theregister.co.uk/2018/11/05/planet_computers_cosmo_communicator/)
Interesting bits:
"We may do a version with less storage/less RAM version – and offer it for £399," mused Planet ’s CEO. The company now employs nine, including two full-time Android developers working on the apps. The K-9 derivative Airmail should be released in the next fortnight, and the Notes app will get voice dictation input."

He does sound quite enthusiastic!

Another short one from Engadget, mainly based on the one from The Register can be found at : https://www.engadget.com/2018/11/05/planet-...PAV4YMiFIrgGxyY (https://www.engadget.com/2018/11/05/planet-computers-cosmo-communicator/?fbclid=IwAR0wEUCPAtz4WzTAA2TQlEGtkLtlW3upi8gYjEnlFcK1PAV4YMiFIrgGxyY)

Liliputing (of course) has an atricle
https://liliputing.com/2018/11/planet-compu...owdfunding.html (https://liliputing.com/2018/11/planet-computers-cosmo-communicator-smartphone-is-also-a-tiny-laptop-crowdfunding.html)
Yes, that bit in The Register about a less RAM/Storage version is interesting. Such a version might give PC a broader appeal among corporate users, who might mainly want a better tool for mobile e-mail (but still have a decent camera for attachments).

Interesting answer found in this article:
Q: Will it replace the Gemini PDA?A: Nope. Planet Computers promises it will keep on developing the Gemini PDA (although mainly software tweaks now)

In addition to that 20 minute long interview with Janko Mrsic-Flogel,
there's another interview by the same guy with Riddiford
(16 minutes) here:

Very informative.

I hope that Planet won't be listening to them and switch to 11-inch laptops
