Hi all,
Twice now in the alst month I have had my Sl-5500 freeze on reboot. And I considered my only option at that juncture was to eject and replace the battery to force a reboot.
Both times when I have done this my entire Internal Memory has reverted back to factory settings. All my apps, saved files, configurations are gone.
Everything on my SD card remains, but I pretty much have to rebuild my Z.
Is this bahavior I should expect when removing all power source?
Should I be bakcing up?
Thanks for any wisdom

Look at this FAQ:

I think the Zaurus hardware gets into an unknown state when it locks up like this, which results in a full reset when you remove the battery. Normally that does not happen.
I always backup though as well

Ahhh, \"the infamous \'Double Reboot\' bug\"
Thanks so much for the info. I really appreciate it.

I have had to switch the switch from normal to replace and back. However that is all. Is this a Sharp ROM or another ROM bug??
