OK, I was very concerned after realising that although the command line ipkg installer always worked, anything it installed to SD was inaccessible from QTopia--no icon/link, and not on the list of available icons/programs for adding a link.
The GUI installer crashed immediately and consistently upon selecting any ipk stored on my SD card (ext2 format). However, it has (thus far) worked without fail installing ipk\'s from a CF card with vfat format, and properly registered thier links and icons in QTopia.
Anyone with similar/differing experiences? Hope this helps with what I know has been, for many, a fatal flaw in an otherwise great ROM.

Hi,
Same problem here, nothing installs via the gui insntaller. From the command line works (after switching to root) but nothing apears on het tabs. Have to reboot the zaurus and then it apears.
When I try to install with the gui it just ends when I select an .ipk
I realy like the Zynergy ROM. Tried them all includin OZ but that one messed up my desk so it was gone and Zynergy back. Realy like it but do want the gui installer back. Could it be that the gui installer isn\'t running as root?
Hope there is help on the way.

Hi,
When I was using Zynergy I found that by keeping a card in the SD slot I was able to use the gui installer. I installed from the CF to SD or internal. It also installed to the SD with the right links and icons.
Couple of other problems I had, no resolution though so I gave up on the ROM.
1) irk never worked, couldn\'t get it too so my Pocketop was rendered useless (not good for me)
2) the pdf viewer did not show as installed, so when I tried to upgrade I couldn\'t uninstall the current to install the latest
just my 2 cents

I haven\'t been able to get the GUI to work at all. However, I did find that if I went into the TABS setting and did a save, all the packages installed by the command line would show up. It\'s like it needs that extra kick in the rump.

I use \"aqkpg\".
But aqpkg does not always uninstall very well. So I keek the original GUI installer to uninstall.
