Is there a way to enable backlight keyboard in linux ?

Thank you .

The wiki has lots of useful info including backlight:

Its open to all to update and add findings.

Can this be of any help? Different device, chip and Leds distribution, so since it is no c/p solution it is beyond my skils, but I "smell" for someone with more knowledge then me, It should be doable...

Hi Adam.
Unfortunately , didn´t work . I´ve tried echo 40 > proc/aw9524_led_proc and nothing happens. Also with 41 , etc.
Thank you again.

Well it works for me, I'd try the 45 first as that's most noticeable, 40 turns it off...
