After 5 months of reliable functionality it is now turning randomly off about each day, today twice. When I find it out I have to hold Esc=On button for about 5 seconds to power it on again. No one can call me, no monitoring alerts can notify me. Planning to claim a replacement from Planet. Anyone with the same defect?

Firmware version?

V20. But it most commonly happens when I go out with the phone so I think it may be more some loose battery connection.

Have you managed to see if there's any warning on screen the moment before it turns off? On the Gemini under Oreo, there's a (software) bug which is sometimes triggered when the battery has reached 50% of charge, it suddenly shows a warning that the battery is empty and it shuts down the phone.

V20 is the random reboot version.... V21 is no better!
They will not replace your unit! it is a software issue that will be resolved within a few days
Unless I am wrong!

Ah true. I remember now. I was curious why everyone is complaining about V20 reboots when my phone was rock solid that time. So the same came to my phone just later. Thanks for reminding me. So now to wait for V22 with fingers crossed.

Same here. When I updated to V20, I kept reading for weeks that people had the random reboot issue, while my Cosmo was totally fine. But in the end, my Cosmo got hit too. Not sure what's causing the 'delay' in receiving this issue, but at least now you know you're not the only one who started experiencing it much later.

V21 does it as well!

Mine has similar behavior since V22 (I was on V19, then V20, then V22 and now V23). It's not really turning off, it's just hanging and then timing out so display turns off and it feels like the device is off. Just today I had to reboot it like this more than 10 times. Tried booting in safe mode and it's still the same. Before it hangs, the interface is trying to refresh for a few seconds and then it's not responding, CoDi is reacting to touches, but doesn't pass anything to OS (i.e. fingerprints/PIN entries/etc.) and the only way to return it back is to reboot.
