Title: Keyboard Backlight Won't Turn On Now
Post by: ArchiMark on August 23, 2020, 02:26:47 pm: Cosmo has been working OK.

But not been using it the past month.

Turned it on last night.

Wanted keyboard backlight, but would not turn on.

Is there any setting I can check or is it a hardware problem?

Post by: cam1965 on August 23, 2020, 03:21:55 pm: I think you have android and linux installed. Try in both and if it is not working in both it seems that is a hardware problem. But if it works in one, good news and this is a software problem. Good luck.
In linux type in terminal : echo 45 > /proc/aw9524_led_proc
In android : Fn + Shift + N ( at the same time ) . I think you already have tried this.( in android) .

Got reply from Planet....they asked that I try backlight again using the right key combo; Fn + Shift + N......

Voila! It worked.....

Realized then that I had tried this without the shift key......

Well, at least it's working and I don't need to send in my Cosmo....
