Hi,
today we have experienced an outage which lasted a couple of hours, it was due to a problem with our host which has since been solved. Sorry for the inconvenience, now everything is back to normal.

The forum is now back online, though there are still issues which are affecting our hosting server. All the filesystems on the server have been temporarily set to read-only. This means that, for the next few days, attachments and avatars uploading will be disabled, while posting and downloads will work as usual. This should be hopefully fixed in a few days. Thanks for your patience.

We have been told by our host provider that the attachment/avatar uploading issue should be solved by tomorrow (Thursday). Fingers crossed.

Hi all,
regarding yesterday's outage, this is what our host has published today in the support's forum:
"On Thursday the 28th of November 2024 (the Thanksgiving holiday here) in the afternoon, our Domain Registrar suspended our domain due to a false positive in one of their systems. Because of communications complications involving the holiday, it took us more than 18 hours to reinstate the domain. The vast majority of ibiblio-supported sites and service have been impacted. We are still working to resolve the lingering effects and plan future steps to avoid a recurrence of this problem."
Everything is now back to normal, thanks for your patience.
