In the process of disassembling and diagnosing my Cosmo, a component has come off the lower half by the battery connector. I don't know what it is, or what it does. Is it a small battery? a speaker? I'm not sure.
It was connected by two wires, red and blue, to two solder pads just above the battery connector on the keyboard half. Both leads have come unsoldered. I can solder them back on, I just need to know which one goes where.
I am attaching several images of the piece itself and the device where it connects. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Crisis averted! Here is a picture of the correct way to connect those two leads:
I have now re-soldered the leads back to the board and the component is back where it belongs.
