All the community.zaurus.com pages have been mirrored here: https://www.oesf.org/commu....230/index.html (https://www.oesf.org/community/66.180.235.230/index.html) (There\'s a link to this on the main side menu on this website)
So http://community.zaurus.com/projects/zwiki/ (http://community.zaurus.com/projects/zwiki/) can now be found at https://www.oesf.org/commu...projects/zwiki/ (https://www.oesf.org/community/66.180.235.230/projects/zwiki/)

vishnja: Great~ collection~!
Besides, did you guys/gals know software that there are Notes which can category? Better can sync with Intellisync... I\'m using Zynergy~
-
visnja, you can find better script to convert wikipedia to the bedic format at http://moria.ionkov.net/zaurus/zbedic (http://moria.ionkov.net/zaurus/zbedic). You can find the not-yet-released version 0.9.2 of zbedic.
talking about wikis, I am writing a qt based notes application that is based on the wiki idea. i didn\'t plan to release it, but if anybody is interested in using wiki without installing web servers, perl and scripts, i can try to clean it up and put it somewhere (and finally implement the encryption).

I really want to make this clear: this great collection isn\'t mine and it\'s not my work! It\'s the work of the people above and is hosted by Chris!
lucho: this notes application would be great :-)

Hmm, the downloads from the Files tab was working at one point. Maybe offroadgeek or another admin needs to look at it.

Did you release your application anywhere?

This has to be one of the more amusing threads... someone posts asking for wiki engine software, and people respond telling where to get Wikipedia backups.

There's actually something kind of like this available now, called EBt. It's described as a 'link memo' software, written in ruby. It seems to be really popular. The only problem is that it is only available in Japanese.

- anpachi, gifu, japan

Wow, wasn't aware of this software.
Seems to be quite good, though I wonder if you can give me a start.
I speak Japanese but am at a loss as how you use it. I just tried a couple of keytaps, edited some notes, now I have a strange structure of links within links, and so, wow... How do you actually work with this?
-
rehorrericha:
I haven't really used the software much myself.
If you can read Japanese, there is plenty of information available. Try http://www.ayati.com/kobako/c3ebt.htm (http://www.ayati.com/kobako/c3ebt.htm) or searching through the archives on http://www.mobilenews.ne.jp/news/all/zaurus.html (http://www.mobilenews.ne.jp/news/all/zaurus.html) .

Hello~~ So anybody have a copy of Zwiki?
I tried to upload it to the downloads section, but I didn't see it appearing there then... Anyway as it is very small I just attach it here. You must just install perl on your Z, which wasn't so easy. I remember trying several perl distros for the Z until I found one working fine.
BTW, have you ever read this (https://www.oesf.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=3384&hl=zwiki) thread?
killefiz.de:
The program is written in Perl (based on Ward Cunningham's WikiWikiWeb sources, distributed with the book TheWikiWay - http://leuf.net/cgi/wikidn?WikiWaySources) (http://leuf.net/cgi/wikidn?WikiWaySources)) and starts as a process during the boot procedure. You need to have perl installed. After a reboot (or /etc/init.d/zwiki start from the commandline) point your broswer at http://localhost:82 (http://localhost:82).
It's just great to have a wiki on your Z and I'm using it quite a lot. It's just so easy to write articles and later add them to the wiki at my work.
Have fun
