Title: UBports and convergence
Post by: thoadr on January 19, 2022, 03:50:40 pm
Hi everybody,

I installed UBports on the cosmo communicator. It works fine for my needs but... the convergence is not working  :-\.
I am using the official usb-c HDMI cable from Planet Computers and the cable is definetly working with android.
Any idea how to get the convergence working with the cosmo? I could not find any instruction (if it exists) to activate the convergence. I only find a review with a picture showing a cosmo plugged to a monitor apparently running with convergence  :o. Unfortunatly the guy did not explain how to do it. Obviously only pluging the HDMI cable did not work in my case.

Here is the link of the review.

Thank you for your help / ideas  :)

I've never used the hdmi on mine, but have a look on the UBPorts forum:  https://forums.ubports.com/
You may get an answer there.

You could also try asking the article author (J C Torres) but I couldn't see a contact link or comments section in the article, so you may have to do some digging.
