Hello
I have a Zaurus SL-C3200 and the main drive has failed. Is the best option to replace with 4GB CF card or use 32GB CF card and format to 4GB and use that?
Also i am guessing that i need a copy of the SL-C3200 4GB flashable default drive image?
Hope some can help with this?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Thank you
Regards
Conrad

Hi Conrad,
It's been years now since I had my 3200, but as I recall I had no problem replacing drive with something like a 8GB CF card.
Since it's been so long, I can't recall for sure whether I duplicated the drive onto the CF card or flashed it.
Changing drive is doable, but please be very careful when you do it so as to not break any cables, connections, etc.
Best,
Mark

Also I don't think there should be any need to limit the partition to 4GB. Even the old ext2 filesystem supports partitions up to 32 GB.

Thanks for the link. It's great to see that Trisoft's Zaurus pages are still online after all these years. I wonder if they'll (https://www.oesf.org/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=3587) someday login back here to greet us.
