Title: Kind advice wanted about buying second hand

Hi people!

I am about to buy a second hand Cosmo communicator, and I found a lot of very nice information here. Thanks so much!
If possible, I would be happy to have your kind advice.

The Cosmo communicator I am about to buy seems in quite good condition but I do not have any information about the battery...
Do you think it is wise to buy a second hand Cosmo communicator? Is there high chance that the battery does not hold for a day of normal usage anymore?

Hi and welcome! The issue with the battery's condition is the same as with any other portable device, you can never know how much it has been used until you check it by yourself. Planet Computers might still have in stock new batteries, I have now sent an email to Cameron Sino (a manufacturer of compatible batteries) to ask them if they still manufacture Cosmo/Gemini batteries.

Finally bought it and received it yesterday :) !
I was afraid but it seems the battery is in a relatively good condition :D !

Still if you get a feedback from Cameron Sino that would be nice to hear of it.
