I don\'t know if the forum code is available, but if it is, I had a great thought.
If you ever go to www.fatwallet.com, there posting process takes keywords like DELL and automatically makes them links to like www.DELL.com. It does this automatically and without any help by the poster.
I thought that a GREAT help to this forum would be a similar feature that links acronyms and FAQ keywords to the actual FAQ or glossary...
Like for example, I just saw a post about SDIO and I have no idea what that is...or what wiki is....or what MAME is (okay I know that one )
Anyway, it would really help us newbies contribute (and understand) the discussion by the expert group without have to post questions like \"what is wiki?\" and also without having to constantly do a search or read a whole thread just to see if someone ever posts a link or breaks down the discusssion for us little folk.
The posts would have links to the FAQ or glossary whenever a keyword is found. This would simply be a filter that has a list of keywords and links and does a simple substition during the posting process. Take a look at the fatwallet.com \"Hot Deals\" forums and you will see what I mean. It is really a great time saver and tool for bringing the newbies up to speed.
Thoughts, suggestions, flames ?

offroadgeek will probably think it would have been a good idea to post this in the Site Suggestions, Feedback and Updates Thread.
