Let\'s see what happens after it rolls of the UPS truck tomorrow.    (* crosses fingers *)

It would be nice to create a customized ROM that gets rid of the useless apps and imports some of the nice apps from the Opie/OpenZaurus.

A version of pdaXrom could be fun, too.

I think the thing about this is, Sharp hasn\'t released any backup rom for the 6000 yet.

Sorry to seem like a complete newb here, but is there any documentation about the ROM upgrade? Like what additions/changes there are? Improved speed? stability? backwards compatibility?

This is not a new ROM, but the same one that has always been issued since the 6000 started shipping

Haven\'t ever used any PDA, so this may sound a stupid question, but does this Sharp\'s rom include all the applications too? I was just thinking should it be now easy to convert a japanese 6KW-model to english, just by updateing the rom?

I believe the ROM does include all the initial applications.

Now that I\'m a USER of the Zaurus.. can anyone tell me what the release differences are for 1.07 and 1.12?  I could probably find out - but I wanted to post a relatively legit message and join in..
